Introduction to the GNI Student-Teacher List

Contained in the Foundation's collection is a near complete set of Grandview Normal Institute school catalogues.  Published once a year, each catalogue lists students and teachers present at the school during the preceeding year, plus their home towns.  Using the navigation bar to the left, you can search the complete list of over 2000 students and teachers.  If a [G], [T] and/or [P] appears before the name, the individual was a "graduate," "teacher" and/or "principal."   Additional information is available on many of the students and teachers listed.  Those seeking information beyond this list are encouraged to contact the Foundation.  The list is dynamic and subject to frequent updating.  If you have information to contribute about a former student or teacher, please return to the Home Page and contact us.  The Foundation holds the copyright on information contained in the GNI school catalogues.  Public posting or distribution of the list in part or whole without written permission from the Foundation is prohibited.  Reproduction of the list in part or in whole is permitted for personal use only.
