Photo taken by Harriett Russell Stratton at her "Cactus Cottage" home on the occasion of Mabel Franklin's birthday, October 26, 1894.  Meda Franklin died as a child in 1897 at the age of seven years, and is buried in Stebbins Cemetery alongside her father.

Nelson Franklin & Julia (Graham) Higby Family - 1897

Nelson Franklin Higby died 1901 in Grandview, Tennessee, and is buried in the Cummins Cemetery.   He is the only member of his family buried in Grandview.  Photo by Harriet Russell Stratton.

Julia (Graham) Higby and her family moved from Grandview shortly after her husband's death.  She died 1931 in Pomona, California.  

Nelson Graham Higby.  Husband of Jessie Genevieve (Huntington) Highby, a Grandview neighbor.  Died 1954 in Pomona, California.
